This policy explains how Audit Scoot B.V. uses cookies and similar technologies on auditscoot.com and in the Audit Scoot customer portal. Read together with our Privacy Policy. Under the Dutch Telecommunicatiewet, the UK PECR, and EU ePrivacy rules, strictly necessary cookies require no consent; all others require prior opt-in.

2. Analytics
Default configuration: a privacy-friendly, cookieless analytics tool (Plausible) that places no cookies, collects no personal data, and does not track visitors across sites; aggregate statistics only. No consent banner is required for this measurement.
If cookie-based analytics or marketing tags are ever deployed (e.g. LinkedIn Insight Tag): they load only after explicit opt-in via a consent banner, will be listed here in full, and consent can be withdrawn anytime via “Cookie settings” in the footer.
3. Marketing / third-party cookies
None. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.
Exception: the booking page loads Calendly only after you choose to open the calendar; Calendly sets its own cookies as described in its policy.
Separately from cookies, this website stores your currency preference in your browser’s localStorage. This is strictly necessary storage for the preference you set and is never transmitted to us.
4. The desktop application
The Audit Scoot desktop application is not a website and uses no cookies. Client financial data is processed locally on your machine; the limited technical data the application exchanges with our servers (licensing, schema mappings, AI questions) is described in the Privacy Policy and the Data Processing Agreement, not here.
5. Managing cookies
Change or withdraw consent anytime via “Cookie settings” in the footer, or via browser settings. Blocking strictly necessary cookies prevents portal login.
